داستان انگلیسی پولدار و فقیر قسمت 1

رز و خواهر کوچکش جاسمین با پدر و مادرشان در یک خانه اجاره‌ای زندگی می‌کنند. خانواده‌ی آنها در فقر بسیار زندگی می‌کند و همیشه با مشکلات مالی روبرو هستند. پدر رز، که یک کارگر است، به دلیل مشکلات در محل کارش، قادر به دریافت حقوق خود نیست.

یک روز صبح رز و جاسمین به مادرشان می‌گویند که گرسنه هستند و از او خواهش می‌کنند که غذا بدهد. اما مادر آنها به آرامی می‌گوید که باید صبر کنند تا پدرشان غذا را برایشان بیاورد.

پس از مدتی، پدر رز به خانه برمی‌گردد، اما در دستش فقط چند دلار پول است. او به دلیل بدشانسی در محل کارش، به اندازه کافی حقوق دریافت نکرده است. با این حال، او با آن چند دلار پول، می‌تواند حداقل یک غذای ساده را برای خانواده تهیه کند.
